About Saint Paul Seminary

Founded in 1965, Saint Paul Seminary is the college and pre-theology seminary program of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh. Saint Paul Seminary forms men as priests to continue the saving work of Jesus Christ, in accordance with the formational guidance of the Holy See and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.

The seminary is located on a private 17-acre campus between Pittsburgh's Crafton neighborhood and the borough of Carnegie. Seminarians in college studies at Saint Paul Seminary take courses through Duquesne University, located in nearby downtown Pittsburgh.
